We've decided that we will be focusing on November Rain and Tattered Dreams and starting their show careers. They will both be entered in several classes of this show, in individual dressage, show jumping, and possibly pas de deux! Miss November is a bit nervous about her first show.

Dusk wasn't nervous, but her horse was. She had shown horses before, but this was her mare, and it meant something. November shifted nervously underneath her. She wasn't used to crowds, the lights, anything. Dusk was hoping to turn November into a wonderful show horse, but there was work to be done. So far November's first show had not been going well. First the mare had decided to untie herself (Dusk had for a moment regretted not training that out of her) and had ran across the show field, spooking several other horses that were there as well. It had taken Dusk and Santos half an hour to finally catch her. Then came to job of grooming her, since she had acquired a large amount of dust on her legs during her run. The mare had not wanted to stand still for this at all, and ended up stepping on Dusk's foot. She had been very glad that she was wearing her boots and not the flip flops she'd had on earlier. Tacking the mare was no problem, she'd always been good for this. Now they waited to be called into the dressage arena. Santos straightened Dusk's hat.

"You'll do fine," he said as November snorted in his face. Dusk laughed and leaned over to scratch her mare's ears.
